Morning Star tipster Farringdon is the king of the nap!

Star tipster storms to victory in Racing Post naps challenge

Farringdon, aka Paul Jacobs, again confirmed himself as the nation’s leading racing tipster on Thursday night when he stormed to victory in the Racing Post naps challenge.

The Morning Star’s tipster since 1996, Farringdon backed a string of winners in the competition’s final week to finish top on +44.39, nearly £9 ahead of his nearest challenger.

An ecstatic Farringdon said: “I’m delighted to have won the Racing Post naps challenge again, especially for the Morning Star, who gave me my first break as a journalist.”

Morning Star sports editor Greg Leedham said: “The Morning Star has a proud history of racing journalism, dating back to Alf Rubin, aka Cayton, who was one of the country’s longest serving and most respected racing tipsters.

“Paul, who joined the Morning Star in 1996, following Alf’s death, has continued that proud tradition, winning the Racing Post naps table three times.

“This year Paul has ensured that the Morning Star again punches above its weight with its racing coverage. For punters who want to spend their money wisely, Farringdon remains the man to follow.”
