EmailPaddy McGuffin's article about our government's complicity in the repression being meted out by the Bahrain government (M Star November 24) was excellent.
McGuffin and readers interested in the topic should take a look at the arms export control policies section of the committees on arms export controls' 2012 report Scrutiny of Arms Exports.
According to the report, equipment licensed for export to Bahrain in 2011 included "small quantities of small arms ammunition, guns, rifles and silencers for sporting shooting and vermin control."
