RMT AGM: ‘Corbyn always stood by us’

LABOUR MPs trying to topple Jeremy Corbyn are only concerned with their own careers, young rail workers said yesterday.

Young members at RMT conference in Cardiff posed with banners in solidarity with the Labour leader.

“We want to build a real future for ordinary working people in this country,” Southall, Ealing and Slough delegate Marcus Bennett said.

“It is a disgrace that some in the Parliamentary Labour Party seem intent on building a future only for themselves.

“Jeremy has always stood by us so young railway workers of every grade and we feel proud to do the same for him.”
