Palestinian kidnap and murder suspects killed by IDF troops

ISRAELI special forces stormed a house in Hebron early yesterday and killed two Palestinians suspected of the June abduction and murder of three Israeli teenagers.

“This episode sends a clear and unambiguous message that Israel will do whatever it needs to deal with threats and challenges wherever they may occur,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

However, he gave no explanation as to why his government used the killings carried out on the West Bank by Amer Abu Aisheh and Marwan Qawasmeh as a pretext for invading Gaza.

Nor did he explain why the operation codenamed Brother’s Keeper was unleashed by thousands of troops across the West Bank in an apparent search for the youths when he knew within hours of their abduction that they were already dead.

The teenagers’ bodies were found under a pile of rocks in a field near Hebron on July 1 close to where they had been seized.
