Radical music revelry at 30 Years of Fighting Back

THIRTY years of socialist struggle will be the theme for a night of musical revelry next weekend, a radical music collective has announced.

The Militant Entertainment collective will host the 30 Years of Fighting Back concert on Saturday November 8 at the historic Bread and Roses pub in south London.

Musicians will commemorate protest heroes.

The organisers, who were behind the legendary 2004 Joe Strummer benefit for striking firefighters, also hope to build solidarity with today’s ongoing strikes in the fire brigade.

Rock cover band The Clones will be supported by Comrade X, The Lone Groover and Dirt Royal.

Entry on the night will be free, but donations and merchandise sales will contribute to the Orgreave Truth and Justice campaign.
