Thank you to the Morning Star for being the only daily paper on the left.

Thank you for supporting our opposition to austerity and the needless impoverishment of so many.

The Covid-19 crisis shows our health and security do not come from free market economics but from the hard work of heroic cleaners, nurses, care workers, doctors and many more. 

It also shows that it is possible for a rapid move to public control of our key services — for the good of all of us!

After Covid-19 there must be no return to the privatised health model that so damaged our NHS,we must have a comprehensive social care and mental health service.

I personally thank so many of you in the Labour Party, unions, peace movement and many social justice campaigns for their friendship, comradeship and support over the past five years.

Our movement is huge and needs the confidence of that strength to tackle social injustice, environmental degradation and global peace.

I will be always part of all those campaigns!
