Nearly 300,000 people sign Covid-19 Bereaved Families for Justice's petition to make memorial wall permanent
The National Covid Memorial Wall

A PETITION by the relatives and friends of Covid-19 victims to make the Memorial Wall in London a permanent fixture has reached nearly 300,000 signatures.

On March 29 last year, campaign group Covid-19 Bereaved Families for Justice, along with Led By Donkeys, began painting red and pink roses on the wall opposite the Palace of Westminster in London in memory of each victim.

As the number of deaths increased, the wall became a 500-metre commemorative mural — and it continues to grow.
