Asda ‘standing back as workers struggle,’ union says
GMB slams the supermarket giant after it leaves delivery drivers with ‘industry low’ wages

ASDA has been accused of being the stingiest of Britain’s “big four” supermarket chains.

General union GMB said that Tesco, Sainsbury and Aldi had all increased employees’ wages “to help workers cope with the cost-of-living crisis,” while Asda chose to “stand back and watch workers struggle.”

Asda workers’ basic pay is £10.10 an hour.
