Men's Rugby League Jamaica play United States for a place at the 2021 World Cup

Jamaica and the United States will play off at the University of North Florida, Jacksonville, tomorrow to decide the 11th nation to qualify for the 2021 World Cup.

Leeds full-back Ashton Golding and Wakefield winger Ben Jones-Bishop both scored tries in Jamaica’s 38-8 win over Canada in the opening game of the Americas Championship on Wednesday.

Hosts the US were comfortable 62-0 winners over newcomers Chile in the other game in which Hull winger Bureta Faraimo claimed 16 points from two tries and four goals.

Jamaica head coach Romeo Monteith said: “It will be a great game for the fans, both teams are evenly matched and it will come down to who makes the least errors to claim that World Cup spot.”
