Trump starts new row by denouncing Sadiq Khan

US PRESIDENT Donald Trump waded into British politics again yesterday, saying London needed a new mayor as Sadiq Khan was a “disaster” and a “disgrace.”

His first insult was a comment on his retweet of a race-baiting post by poison-monger Katie Hopkins on three deaths by stabbing in the city referring to “Khan’s Londonistan,” a derogatory reference to the mayor’s Muslim faith.

In a subsequent tweet he accused the mayor of “destroying” London.

Mr Trump has previously waded into British politics by saying he would support Boris Johnson as prime minister, saying the former foreign secretary would be “excellent.” His Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was recorded saying the US would “do our level best” to prevent Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn becoming PM – a threat to interfere in the British democratic process that has yet to be condemned by the Foreign Office.
