Ambulance workers to be balloted on strike action
WORKERS at five out of 10 ambulance service regions in England are to ballot on strike action over pay.
Members of the GMB union at ambulance services in Yorkshire, the North West, East Midlands, West Midlands and the North East voted overwhelmingly in consultative ballots for full ballots on industrial action.
The results of the other five services are pending.
