Labour pushes Scottish government to set up tenant’s hardship grant

LABOUR has pushed the Scottish government to move faster in setting up a tenant’s hardship grant.

Scottish Labour housing spokesman Mark Griffin has written to the SNP’s Shona Robison today calling for action from ministers. 

Plans for a tenant’s hardship grant were announced on June 22 during a Holyrood debate on Covid legislation, but no further details have been made available in the two months since.
