Yorkshire train driver and left activist Tosh McDonald spoke to the Star yesterday about his election as President of train drivers’ union Aslef.
Mr McDonald is a Morning Star supporter and works from Doncaster.
He was a freight train guard before becoming a train driver and told the Star: “The depot at Donny was run by Aslef — this was in British Rail’s time — and Aslef dictated what happened.
