Syrian war: Death toll from Isis bombings hits 60
Damascus blames countries backing rebels for the slaughter
THE number of people killed by Thursday night’s triple car bombing in north-eastern Syria rose to 60 yesterday, with around 80 wounded.
The Islamic State (Isis) attack in the Kurdish-held town of Tell Tamer, in Hasakeh province, struck a crowded marketplace near a People’s Protection Units (YPG) field hospital.
Syria’s government condemned the “cowardly” attack, along with others in the north-western city of Aleppo.
