Joe Farrell can make his mark in the Scottish Grand National today
FARRINGDON casts his eye over the weekend’s racing action

FROM the Grand National at Aintree to the Scottish Grand National at Ayr (4.05), this afternoon and a real chance for the unexposed outsider JOE FARRELL (nap) to make his mark.

Rebecca Curtis hasn’t had the best of seasons, but she has taken her time with this nicely bred nine-year-old that paid dividends when he had his first run for four months and absolutely hacked up at Newbury.

Of course this is a much bigger task for this young horse, but he arrives here fresh and lightly raced and looks the most obvious source of an upset.
