Cycling Williams races to landmark victory

STEPHEN WILLIAMS took victory in the 2024 Fleche Wallonne today, making history by becoming the first British winner of the race with a brilliantly timed finish on the fourth climb of the Mur de Huy.

In a race which saw sunshine, torrential rain and even snow, Kevin Vauquelin and Maxim Van Gils crossed the finish line second and third close behind the victorious Welshman.
