South Korea: I deserve death, blubs Park’s mystic counsellor
SOUTH KOREAN prosecutors grilled the mystic confidant of President Park Geun Hye yesterday over allegations that she used their relationship to influence policy and enrich herself illegally.
“I committed a sin that deserves death,” said a tearful Choi Soon Sil, at the Seoul prosecutor’s office.
The 60-year-old is the daughter of an ex-policeman-turned-cult leader. The family’s links with Ms Park and her dictator father go back decades.
