‘Nazi’ in court over MP Berger death threat

A SELF-CONFESSED nazi is facing jail after making anti-semitic death threats to Labour MP Luciana Berger.

John Nimmo from South Shields sent two emails to the Liverpool Wavertree MP in which he told her to “watch your back, Jewish scum.”

He told her she would “get it like Jo Cox” — the MP shot and stabbed to death in the street.

A message to Ms Berger included a picture of a large knife.

Mr Nimmo has been charged with a racially or religiously aggravated hate crime against Ms Berger.

He was previously jailed in 2014 for eight weeks for sending abusive messages on Twitter to feminist campaigner Caroline Criado-Perez and MP Stella Creasy.

He was remanded in custody and his case will next be heard at Newcastle Crown Court in August.
