US ‘considering severe measures’ against North Korea

THE United States seemed set to punish China yesterday over North Korea’s intercontinental ballistic missile test earlier this week.

On a visit to Poland ahead of the G20 summit in Hamburg today, US President Donald Trump said his administration was considering “pretty severe” measures against Pyongyang.

He said North Korea was “behaving in a very, very dangerous manner,” adding: “Something will have to be done about it.”
