Venezuela: Maduro angrily attacks US for spying on oil company
VENEZUELAN President Nicolas Maduro vowed that his country would “revise its relationship” with the US following revelations that Washington spied on the state oil company.
Whistleblowing US website the Intercept and South American TV network Telesur exposed the espionage plot — dating back to at least before 2010 — on Wednesday.
Mr Maduro said he had instructed Foreign Minister Delcy Rodriguez to convene a meeting with the US government to lodge a formal protest.
