Bakers’ jobs at risk in Greggs factory

BAKERY chain Greggs has put up to 100 workers’ jobs under threat through a planned restructuring at its bakery at Clydesmill in Scotland, it was revealed yesterday.

Food union Usdaw is seeking talks after a worrying announcement from the firm.

Around 200 workers are employed in the factory, and staff have been asked to consider taking voluntary redundancy.
