ANTI-RACIST campaigners met in London last night to demand that racism be kept out of the EU referendum.
The event was organised by the Stand Up to Racism campaign and titled Refugees Welcome — Racism out of the Referendum.
A representative said: “As the humanitarian crisis from the Middle East and north Africa grows and the EU referendum debate reaches its final stage, some of the most vulnerable people in Europe have been the subject of vicious scapegoating from sections of both sides of the debate.”
