Ukraine: Russia warns Kiev it will cut off gas

RUSSIA’S Energy Ministry threatened to cut off gas supplies to Ukraine yesterday as Kiev’s fascist militias delayed restoring power to blacked-out Crimea.

Energy Minister Alexander Novak said that gas would be cut off “today or tomorrow” because the Kiev government has failed to pay its bills.

Russia resumed gas deliveries to Ukraine less than two months ago after the two countries signed a deal for supplies until next spring.
