Steely resolve to raise plenty of chuckles for Gaza’s kids

LABOUR reject Mark Steel is among the performers at a Free Gaza! fundraiser at the Edinburgh fringe tomorrow.

The comedian revealed this week that he was among 1,200 so-called “entryists” barred from taking part in the party’s leadership ballot.

The show also features comedians Daniel Kitson, Mark Thomas and Ivor Dembina and will raise funds for Palestine through the International Medical Education Trust 2000 (IMET 2000).
