South Korea: Disgraced Park faces prosecutors’ questions

SOUTH KOREA’S disgraced former leader Park Geun Hye was grilled by prosecutors yesterday for the first time since her impeachment two weeks ago.

Now stripped of her immunity from prosecution, Ms Park struck a penitent pose to reporters on her arrival at the prosecutors’ office in the capital Seoul.

“I am sorry to the people. I will sincerely undergo an investigation,” she said.
