North Korea: Pyongyang fires six missiles as new sanctions revealed

NORTH KOREA fired six short-range rockets into the sea off its east coast yesterday in vainglorious defiance of harsh new UN sanctions.

South Korean Defence Ministry spokesman Moon Sang Kyun said the projectiles, believed to have been KN-01 short-range missiles or shells from 300mm multiple rocket launchers, had landed 60-90 miles off the coast in the Sea of Japan.
