McDonnell: No toxic Tory tactics for us
Labour ‘will put positive case’ for remaining in EU

LABOUR’S leadership will not take part in the toxic Tory scaremongering campaign ahead of the EU referendum, John McDonnell vowed yesterday. 

The shadow chancellor made the pledge before embarking on a week-long speaking tour as part of the Another Europe Is Possible campaign, starting in Wolverhampton.

He said: “The EU referendum is about our future relationship with Europe, not who is the next leader of the Tory Party, which is why I think there is a positive case to be made and it’s vital young people hear this case over the personal ambitions of different Tory MPs.
