Teachers to join mass July 10 strike

THE National Union of Teachers (NUT) said yesterday that its members will pile into a massive strike planned for July 10.

The Morning Star revealed in May how the teachers union was mulling a united walkout with Unison, GMB and Unite.

Now the union’s national executive has voted to name the date for action after Education Secretary Michael Gove failed to negotiate over pay and pension changes.
