North Korea arrests US student tourist

NORTH KOREA said yesterday it had arrested a US tourist for an unspecified “hostile act” against the state.

The Korean Central News Agency said that Otto Frederick Warmbier had entered the country under the guise of a tourist and plotted to destroy North Korean unity with “the tacit connivance of the US government and under its manipulation.”
