TIMED beautifully to meet the Christmas rush, Adele’s new album 25 is set to be the fastest selling in Britain ever, beating the Oasis masterpiece Be Here Now for first week sales.

In the US, the album has already broken the first-week sale record, as people across the nation prepared for Thanksgiving dinner with big-budget balladeering.

Adele is a savvy businesswoman. She’s refusing to allow her album to appear on streaming sites like Spotify, though it’s still available as a paid download.
