The Top Notch picks for Cheltenham
Our tipster casts his expert eye over the picks at Cheltenham Festival

The Cheltenham Festival begins on Tuesday with four days and 28 races of championship racing and here are my best value tips for the meeting.

Tuesday: With no Faugheen or Arctic Fire present, the Champion Hurdle is wide open. I think the mares’ allowance that favourite Annie Power receives is too much but with at least some give in the ground the choice each-way is Top Notch at a double figure price.

However, it’s a tentative wager with the likes of Identify Thief and Nichols Canyon both feared.
