‘Leave to save NHS’

LEAVING the European Union would help fix Britain’s NHS funding crisis, research from the Vote Leave campaign found yesterday.

Britain pays a massive £10.6 billion to the EU each year, which Vote Leave says could offset the £12.3bn funding shortfall the NHS is expected to have by 2021.

Vote Leave chairwoman Gisela Stuart said: “The NHS is facing a crisis due to growing demand for healthcare and a squeeze on funding. If we Vote Leave the money we send to the EU will plug some of the gaps.”
