Phill Jupitus - The Railway Man
Edited by JODY PORTER

The Railway Man
Phill Jupitus

I heard
On the train
We had lost
A most singular
Essex man
Fighting man
Union man
Railed against injustice
Made points
And kept track
Of the bastards

So I wrote these lines
On the same train
And realised that
In his memory
None of us
Should be
Sleepers
