DUTCH voters went to the polls yesterday in a referendum on Ukraine’s bid for European Union membership.

The plebiscite on the EU association agreement with Kiev came as Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko was forced to defend himself from tax-dodging allegations stemming from the Panama Papers leaks.
