THOUSANDS of students will take to the streets later this year for free education, a coalition of action groups announced yesterday.
A national demonstration against fees and student debt is to be held on November 19, merely a month after the date set by trade unions for their own day of action.
“We are calling this demonstration to take the fight to the government,” said National Campaign Against Fees and Cuts (NCAFC) spokeswoman Beth Redmond.
