North Korea: Putin responds to North’s missile test by calling for talks

RUSSIAN President Vladimir Putin called for talks with North Korea yesterday after its latest ballistic missile test.

Speaking at the Belt and Road trade forum in Beijing, Mr Putin branded Pyongyang’s nuclear weapons and missile tests “unacceptable.”

But he added: “We need to return to a dialogue with North Korea, stop intimidating it and find peaceful solutions.”
