Pyongyang ‘can hit US’

NORTH Korean dynastic leader Kim Jong Un said Wednesday’s submarine missile test gave it the capability to hit the US mainland, the country’s state-run news agency reported yesterday.

Mr Kim hailed the launch of the Pukguksong missile from a submerged submarine the “success of all successes,” claiming that the US and other Pacific nations were now “within the striking range” of his country.

He called for his nation’s scientists to work towards mounting nuclear warheads on all types of ballistic missiles in preparation for “total war and nuclear war with the US imperialists.”
