Hamilton officials call for help to preserve Braveheart Stakes status
£40,000 event in danger of a downgrading from listed position
Officials at Hamilton are calling for help from owners and trainers as they try to preserve the Listed status of the Braveheart Stakes.
The event, which will be worth £40,000 when it is run in May, is in danger of being downgraded as the ratings of the last two renewals have fallen short of the 100 mark which is imposed by the European Pattern Committee.
