Bus workers in the North East balloted for strike action

BUS workers in north-east England are voting for strike action and have warned that services across the region could be paralysed as a result.

Go North East employs 1,300 drivers and engineers who are members of union Unite.

They have rejected a “derisory” below-inflation pay proposal which they say also attacks their terms and conditions.
