A SCOTTISH Labour MP’s campaign to save high street banks and cash machines has been praised by Jeremy Corbyn on a visit to the constituency of Rutherglen and Hamilton West.
Ged Killen snatched the seat from the Scottish Nationalists by just 265 votes at the 2017 election.
Speaking to a packed function room at the Blantyre Miners’ Welfare Club on Sunday, the Labour leader said: “Working-class communities increasingly get excluded from the banking system, excluded from the ability to borrow money of any sort.”
