HUNDREDS of bus workers are to be balloted for strikes after rejecting pay offers at less than half of inflation.

About 500 members of Unite employed by French-owned firm RATP in London will vote in the next few weeks on whether to launch a campaign of industrial action.

The union warned that a strike would hit bus services across west and north-west London.
