Labour calls out Prime Minister’s ‘catalogue of chaos’ and ramps up pressure with vote on education catch up
Prime Minister Boris Johnson

THE Tory government’s catalogue of chaos on education has failed young people, Labour charged yesterday as it urged MPs to back its recovery plan for children before the summer holidays.

Labour will test the resolve of government backbenchers with an opposition day debate in the Commons today.

Its proposals follow cross-party condemnation of Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s paltry £1.4 billion scheme aimed at helping children make up for learning lost during the crisis.
