Leicester Mayor faces calls to resign over lockdown breaches
LABOUR leader Sir Keir Starmer was urged today to make Leicester Mayor Sir Peter Soulsby resign over visits to his partner’s home while the country was in lockdown.
Mr Soulsby has apologised for his “very significant error of judgement” when he went from his own home in the city to Groby at the end of April and then again four weeks later to stay overnight.
He was photographed doing work at his partner’s home during lockdown.
