A LORRY driver was arrested in Dover today amid clashes between police and hauliers still stranded as a result of the French border closure.
More than 5,000 HGVs remained stuck in Kent despite the border reopening this morning, as drivers must be tested for Covid-19 before they are allowed into France.
There were disturbances at Dover and at the lorry-holding facility in Manston involving those waiting to cross the Channel.
