Strike ballot could threaten supplies of Coca Cola, Sprite, Fanta and Monster

POTENTIAL strikes at Europe’s biggest soft drinks factory in West Yorkshire could put supplies of Coca Cola, Sprite, Fanta and other major brands at risk this summer, the Unite union warned today.

Hundreds of workers at the site in Wakefield are currently voting on industrial action after a below-inflation 6 per cent pay offer from Coca Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP), the union said.

The mega-rich firm recently reported a whopping 37 per cent profit rise to an eye-watering £1.85 billion, according to Unite.
