Merseyside teachers to strike over unsafe working conditions
TEACHERS at a Merseyside primary school are to strike in protest at unsafe working conditions, including risks of coronavirus infection.
The National Education Union (NEU) said problems began at Kingsway Primary School in Wallasey in May when, for almost three months, the school was without running water.
Children and staff were unable to wash their hands and staff had to flush toilets using buckets.
