THOUSANDS are expected to demonstrate in towns and cities across England on Saturday in protest against the crisis engulfing the NHS.
Members of the public will unite with striking health workers for protests organised by national campaign group Keep Our NHS public (KONP) and NHS staff.
KONP co-chair Dr John Puntis said: “The future of our NHS is now at stake and the co-ordinated national demonstrations on January 28 are to give voice to our collective anger, and to tell staff: ‘We understand why you are on strike, and we stand by you 100 per cent’.”
