Trade unionists and anti-fascists rally at Clyde Hotel in solidarity with refugees
Unite Community activists outside the Clyde Hotel in Erskine

TRADE unionists and anti-fascists rallied at the Clyde Hotel in Erskine today in solidarity with refugees being housed there.

The rally was also held in opposition to fascist group Patriotic Alternative (PA), which continues to plague the Scottish town.

The stand-off came a day after a community meeting organised by the Renfrew & District Trades Council sought to discuss concerns and allay fears held by locals after a concerted campaign of misinformation by the PA.
