TUC general secretary Frances O’Grady praised the determined work of Usdaw reps over the last year in her address to the shopworkers’ union’s annual conference on Sunday.
She addressed more than 600 delegates on the opening day of Usdaw’s first-ever online conference, which concluded yesterday.
Ms O’Grady said that the crisis had taken a terrible toll on all key workers but that Usdaw’s response had shown the power of the trade union movement.
