BORIS JOHNSON faced union pressure today to extend the government's coronavirus compensation scheme to transport staff, following the death of a ticket-office worker.
Transport union TSSA made the call after one of its members, Belly Mujinga, died after being spat on by a member of the public who claimed to have coronavirus.
Ms Mujinga died last month following the incident at London's Victoria Station, leaving behind her husband and 11-year-old daughter.
